Sinegal Entrepreneur Scholarship

Jim Sinegal attended San Diego Junior College (San Diego City College) during the 1950’s. Jim learned the importance of discipline and focus while attending City College. He transferred to San Diego State University where he gained business education knowledge, began working for Fed-Mart, and eventually met Price Club founder Sol Price. He went on to help found one of the greatest wholesale companies in industry history, a story that continues to this day. He was recently chosen as a Most Distinguished Alumnus by City College.

This scholarship was created to help support students who are in their last year of the Business Studies (Small Business Accounting, Small Business Management or Entrepreneur) at San Diego City College.
Amount: $500 – 750
Requirements:
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Current enrollment of 6 or more units at San Diego City College
• Must have 18 units completed within the Business Studies track at San Diego City College

If there is no funding or there are no qualified applicants that reflect this format the scholarship will not be awarded for that year.
