SDCC ASG Single Parent Scholarship

Many students at City College are single parents who strive to better themselves and their families by returning to school to achieve a higher education. The Associated Students Government has pledged funds for single parent students attending City College who are seeking to transfer to a four-year college or earn an Associate Degree in the field of their choice.

Eligibility:
● Must be a single parent
● Must be enrolled in 6 units or more at City College for Fall and Spring of the current Academic Year
● Must have completed a minimum of 12 units at City College
● GPA of 2.5 or higher
● Must have purchased an ASG sticker for the current academic year ( maybe purchased via mysdccd portal – marked as ASG card)

If there is no funding or there are no qualified applicants that reflect this format the scholarship will not be awarded for that year.
