Charles W. Patrick Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established by San Diego Community College District in memory of the first Chancellor of the San Diego Community College District. Charles W. Patrick was a great leader who helped build the district, one building at a time. His efforts enabled the district to diversify in order to best serve the community’s educational needs.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have a 2.5 (C+) GPA
- Must be enrolled at least 6 or more units at City College
- Must demonstrate service to others
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must be planning to transfer to a 4-year college in the Fall of 2023 or a vocational student who is not planning to transfer in the immediate future.

If there is no funding or there are no qualified applicants that reflect this format the scholarship will not be awarded for that year.
