The Dr. Nesha Savage Black Excellence Scholarship

In honor of Dr. Nesha Savage’s steadfast leadership as one of the creators of the Hermanos Unidos Brothers United (HUBU) Conference; in dedication to roles that Black and other women serve in leading efforts to uplift our communities; and in celebrating 10 years of service collaborating with faculty, classified professionals and students to developed a shared vision that celebrates student achievements and excellence for Chicanx and Black males. This scholarship is for women who embody a commitment to service and academic excellence.

Requirements:
Must have completed 6 units at City
Must be currently enrolled in 6 units at City
GPA 2.0 or higher

If there is no funding or there are no qualified applicants that reflect this format the scholarship will not be awarded for that year.
