Skanska USA Civil West Scholarship

The Skanska Scholarship will provide funding for two Veterans enrolled at San Diego City, Mesa, or Miramar College.

The scholarship will financially support the growth and development of selected participants to gain professional access to a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related field upon completion of a degree or certificate. Additionally, the recipients will be provided with a paid summer internship through Skanska USA Civil West.

Each scholarship will provide one semester (Spring 2023) of support for:
• Enrollment Fee
• Student Health Fee
• Student Representation Fee
• Book Grant based on units enrolled in for Spring 2023

Eligibility Criteria
• Must have served in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, or a reserve component.
• Must be currently enrolled at San Diego City, Mesa, or Miramar College.
• Must have a completed 2022-2023 FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application
• Must be pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related degree or certificate.
