Mission Hills Garden Club

The Mission Hills Garden Club program awards scholarship to college students based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and an express interests in pursuing a degree in horticulture (Defined: Agriculture, Botany, Horticulture, such as Landscape Design or Architecture, Forestry, Irrigation Management, Landscape installation or maintenance, Golf Course or Sports field management, Gray water management) Floral Design, Florist Operation.

Requirements:
-registered for 6 or more units at San Diego City College in the Horticulture major
-2.5 or higher GPA
-Demonstrate Financial Need

Winners of this scholarship must be able to attend the Fall Mission Hills Garden Club meeting.

If there is no funding or there are no qualified applicants that reflect this format the scholarship will not be awarded for that year.
