Dr. Dotti Cordell Student Health Center Scholarship

The Scholarship named for Dotti Cordell, EdD, MPH, RN seeks to award a first or second-year nursing student of color with an award, enabling them to complete their nursing program successfully. The scholarship seeks minoritized students of color in order to address the vast disparities in the representation of these populations in healthcare. It is crucial that students of color enter nursing so that all who seek healthcare may see themselves represented, may find trust in the healthcare system and together, both patients and clinicians can work to address the significant health disparities between races and ethnicities.
