Alexandra Rice Scholarship

The Alexandra Rice Scholarship recognizes the dedication and resilience required to develop knowledge and training in the field of mental health work. This scholarship is in honor of Alexandra Rice, a student who completed the Mental Health Work Certificate of Achievement at San Diego City College. Upon graduation she worked as a Behavioral Specialist, helping and teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in their home settings. Her sudden death was a shock to all, and through this scholarship her legacy lives on. Applicants must be enrolled in the Mental Health Work Certificate of Achievement Program.

Requirements:
1. 3.0 overall GPA
2. Must be enrolled in the Mental Health Work Certificate of Achievement program at San Diego City College.
3. Must submit a letter verifying enrollment in the Mental Health Work Certificate of Achievement program, signed by Dawn Taft or Kristen Cole.

If there is no funding or there are no qualified applicants that reflect this format the scholarship will not be awarded for that year.
